The pre-opening party of the "Shapes
& Colours” exhibition could not have
been any different. As always, sensational!
In relaxed and amicable climate, with much art
in the air, the night was extremely special!

| A Cheerful and
Optimistic Painting
Patrícia Lazarini, a self-educated
artist and Psychology graduate, emerges into the world
of art with a good-humoured and vibrant proposal. A pure
explosion of colours shapes and lines. In her art Patricia
translates her observations of everyday life on to the
canvas with delicacy and elegance, creating the places,
ambience and people which appear in her acrylic paintings.
Poetically create spaces by memory,
built from geometric abstractions. Activated by pure energy
of colour, completely pervading the visual perspective
of the canvas, the painting explodes before your eyes.
The colour is memory, is light and tense rhythm; is silence
and sound.
Her work at the same time reveals and hides, magnetizes
us, fill us with joy, transporting us to the magical and
moving world of this artist, whose journey of art took
her to Piracicaba, Batatais, Ribeirão Preto, São
Paulo, London and Köln. The angles and visions which
exist in her paintings can be changed by the spectator,
pointing to a variety of possibilities and particularities,
reflecting the restricted and universal aspects of everyday
life of every, and any, human being.
